Suites and pans

Wall Faced Toilet Suites and Pans

A wall faced toilet suite pairs the pan with a cistern. A wall faced pan comes without a cistern, for buyers who already have one in mind. Shop our back to wall toilet, or browse all toilets and bidets.

Flush and rim styles

Rimless, Tornado and Box Rim Wall Faced Toilets

A rimless wall faced toilet has no hidden rim under the bowl edge, so there is less to scrub. Tornado pans use a flush that creates a whirlpool effect in the bowl. Box rim pans keep the traditional rim. Use the filter to compare.

Rimless

Tornado

Cisterns

Wall Faced Toilet with In-Wall or Concealed Cistern

A concealed cistern stays out of sight, such as inside the wall or under a counter. Geberit wall faced toilet options include the Sigma 8 in-wall and Alpha under counter cisterns on the Mercio Norton99, alongside an R&T in-wall option. Inspire Bathware's VOGHERA offers R&T or Geberit cistern packages.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a wall faced toilet and a wall hung toilet?

A wall faced toilet stands on the floor against the wall. A wall hung toilet is fixed to a frame in the wall, with the pan clear of the floor.

How do I install a wall faced toilet?

A licensed plumber should install it, and Mercio and Belbagno warranties require one. The pan fixes to the floor and connects to the waste outlet and cistern. Decide on your cistern before the wall is lined.

Do wall faced toilets need a cistern?

Yes. Every wall faced pan needs a cistern to flush. Choose a listing with a Geberit or R&T cistern, or buy the pan only and add a compatible cistern.

Does a wall faced toilet need a P trap or S trap?

It depends on whether your waste outlet is in the floor or the wall. An S trap connects to a floor outlet and a P trap to a wall outlet. The Norton99 S trap suits a waste pipe 110 to 145 mm from the finished wall, with an optional P trap 180 mm above the floor.
