Copper Press Fittings have undergone stringent testing by an accredited laboratory to ensure compliance with AS 3688. The Copper Press Gas Fittings have the same metallic body but use a special o-ring sealing element that is compatible with most common gases.
These Copper Press Gas Fittings have been subjected to low pressure pneumatic tests to simulate the use when conveying gases at the pressures stated in AS 5601 Gas Installation. These tests were witnessed and verified by an Accredited Certifying Body (ACB) who issued a Type Test Certification.
